This website has been designed to help you make full use of the many services that our practice has to offer. We offer the following services:

Flu Vaccine

We have special clinic for the normal flu vaccinations. patients will be informed through letter, by phone and at reception.

Blood tests

We have our Phlebotomist who does our patients blood test, they can be booked at the reception or over the phone after the request of the doctor.

Antenatal Clinic and postnatal

The Doctors and midwives offer antenatal and postnatal services. When you have a positive pregnancy test you should give your details to the receptionist who will pass it on to the midwife and the midwife will contact you for your first appoinment and booking. for more complicated pregnancies the midwife may also refer you to the hospital consultant who will arrange shared care with the midwife.

If you are uncertain about continuing with your pregnancy we would encourage you to discuss these with the midwife or doctor.

Child Immunisation Clinic

Child Immunisation Video

Childrens immunisation appointment letter is send by the Bridge Park Plaza and are done at the Surgery by our Practice Nurse. The appointments are only Tuesday but can be re-arranged to suit the patients.

Contraceptive Services

At Highfield Sugery, Our Doctors and Practice Nurses provide contraceptive services, including emergency contraception for females who wish to avoid pregnancy after unprotected sex. consultation and treatment must be sought as soon as possible and within 72 hours.

New baby & Children Support Service

ChatHealth provides help to lots of people like teenagers in schools, parents of young children and mums with new born babies.

Health for Under 5s offers a wealth of information and advice from health professionals, supporting families from pregnancy through to pre-school.

Communication

  • We will keep you informed of the services that we offer and information with regards to your health treatment
  • Patients who have been on the list for 1 years and who have not been seen either in a clinic or in a consultation will be invited for a health check up
  • The Doctors provide full maternity medical services
  • This is not a dispensing pracitce. All prescriptions need to be taken to the chemist for dispensing
