Travel Advice & Travel Vaccinations

We would like to inform you that our practice has temporarily discontinued our Private Travel Clinic. However, we remain committed to the health and well-being of our registered patients and continue to provide NHS-contracted travel vaccines free of charge. These vaccinations include Cholera, Hepatitis A, Polio, and Typhoid.

Plan your vaccinations well in advance, following these guidelines:

Holidays: At least 8 weeks before your travel date
Backpackers and those working abroad: 3-6 months before your travel date

For those seeking private travel clinic services and personalised travel advice, we recommend searching the internet for local providers. Please note that private clinics may charge for travel advice consultations. We want to reassure our patients that our surgery has no financial affiliations with any local private providers. We do not endorse specific private clinics for any financial gain.

If you choose to visit a Private Travel Clinic, they will require the following information:

  • Departure and return dates
  • Countries to be visited
  • Type of stay (holiday, backpacking, occupational, etc.)
  • Allergies (You can access to your own online medical record from Patient Online Access Service or NHS App)
  • For female patients: pregnancy status or future plans
  • Vaccinations received in the past
